Managing Partner Biographies

Elaine Morris: Elaine brings to Marmot Vacation Rentals a wealth of knowledge and experience in luxury vacation rentals, marketing (both online and traditional channels), sales, customer service and business consulting. As a result, her knowledge of the luxury homeowner and vacation rental guest, as well as her commitment to superior customer service and online customer experience represents the underlying foundation of Marmot Vacation Rentals.

For more than five years as Vice President of Marketing in Wells Fargo Internet Services Group, Elaine was responsible for a wide breadth of marketing activities targeted specifically to the needs of the high net worth client. She also spent several years as a business consultant working for small internet start-up companies, as well as large multi-billion dollar international corporations. Most recently, Elaine managed multiple luxury vacation rental properties in Whistler, Seattle and North Lake Tahoe.

Elaine graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington. As a transplant from the UK, she enjoys traveling, but her adventures always bring her back home to Tahoe where she relishes a day in the mountains whether it is skiing, hiking, or running. Most of all, she likes to hang out in the backyard with her daughter, Jesse.

Bryan Raydon: With over 15 years of luxury real estate development and management experience, Bryan is committed to offering guests and homeowners, a great product, excellent value and the very best personal service.

From 1997 through 2008, Bryan was an executive for a Colorado-based resort development company in various management roles that demanded close customer interaction. Among other roles, Bryan most recently served as a Project Manager of Phase II of the Village at Northstar, the nation's first and largest LEED*certified mixed-use resort project. At this project and others, Bryan worked closely with homeowners to close and negotiate contracts as well as manage punch, warranty and customer care issues. As a result, he is intimately aware of the standards expected by homeowners of luxury real estate and excels at proactively meeting those expectations.

Bryan studied real estate finance while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern California and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. Brian is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Property Manager in California and Nevada. For fun, Bryan is an avid Tahoe outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife, Janet, and their two children, Sabrina and Kai.
